And the best software of all: MacOS X.

So I have an Intel MAC (2.26ghz I beleive) running 10.5.6 (not 10.6 yet  :() and I have to say that my PC (Q6600, XP/7/Vista/Fedora quad boot) runs Photoshop and all adobe products 10x better than the Mac... But IDK thats just me. I like the Mac for my PHP development and CF development. My PC is for my Photoshop and my VS2008  ;D

Well, I think some thin the reason I keep upgrading is to get the newest Fireworks.  I live in that program when I'm doing any graphic stuff.

Title pretty much says it all.  I am wondering what most folks use for web design.  Currently my wife does our website and some friends using FP2003.  I tried to have use Dreamweaver 3 years ago and she didn't like it so much.

Current website http://www.ariussiberians.com

You can use https://pinegrow.com/ it is much better workflow compared to DW. It's pretty awesome.

Photoshop is one of the perfect software for this purpose, but it’s paid. So, I prefer GIMP because it is free and very easy to use. It allows every feature like Photoshop and perfect to manage all projects of web design.

Im started with Dreamweaver and today i use Dreamweaver c6 still lol.
Xammp for local development of php sites.
And i use my chrome browsers developer mode plugins to analyse my website for issues.
Laravel too, sometimes i edit html or php files directly on the hosting server if its minor bugs.

My greatest developer tool .... ;D ;D ;D is a iphone ( because i have nothing else to check compatibility for on ios ) and online emulators are not reliable.
