Can I update to openssh5.0 on centos4.3 and how?
« on: July 17, 2008, 12:07:08 PM »
I am told I have problem with my ssh on centos 4.3.

Can I update to the latest openssh5.0 on centos4.3? What's the command?

I tried "yum update openssh". It only picked up some updates for openssh 3.9.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

you can try to manually uninstall some parts of SSH.

rpm -qa | grep -i ssh

Look for files that are SIMILAR to: 5.0p1-8.RHEL4.20

Then rpm -e them

rpm -e <filename>

Then do a yum update
