cloudflare and other content delevery networks
« on: August 25, 2017, 09:27:59 AM »
I recently wanted to increase my page loading time. I had a bounce-rate on my website that i wasn't pleased with. So i looked into the options ive optimised pretty much everything and the i ran across the keep alive tcp option. This is on a shared server , apache 2.2. I read up on it though there are many tutorials saying you can edit the settings in ht.access it does not work. It needs to be done in the httpd config file to which i have no access. So i phoned up my hosting company and asked if they could allow it and they said they dont provide it, for obvious reasons i know. So i turned to cdn's . I am up with cloud-flare now keeping a close eye. My question is has anybody ( because of the manner in which cloud-flare stores and serves content) come across Serp problems ?
